Tomei High Volume Race Sump Oil Pan
Hand made, welded stainless steel, designed to bend/dent in the event of a impact,
unlike aluminium which has a tendency to crack/break leading to loss of oil and
engine damage.
In drift, circuit or drag racing, intense vertical and horizontal G forces
cause clumsy oil circulation that can lead to oil starvation & engine damage.
Tomei have developed an oversize oil pan/sump for the SR20 and installed
it into there N2 racing Silvia to prove its highest performance. SR20 oversize
oil pan allows gaining 600cc of capacity without changing the factory ground
clearance. At the same time, partition and swinging plates inside secures oil
pickup to every part of the engine even under severe cornering Gs
